Pauline has 35 years background in social work and behavioural forensic psychology, with previous roles including Director of Safeguarding for two dioceses for the past 20 years; Residential Services Manager with Salford Diocesan Catholic Children’s Rescue Society; Head of Child Protection and Welfare residential special school in Cheshire; Residential Therapist in therapeutic community for child victims of sexual abuse in Kent, Safeguarding consultancy to the Scottish Catholic Bishops Conference (independent investigation and psychological risk assessments) and Director of Safeguarding for international Religious Order (OMI Oblates). Pauline is an expert court witness in risk analysis/risk management of sexual offenders and a Member of CEOP Academy. Pauline has carried out independent reviews for Catholic Safeguarding Advisory Service and has been a key speaker at Anglophone international safeguarding conferences, Vatican, Rome. Pauline has experience as a Freelance safeguarding consultancy and is a current lead governor for safeguarding David Lewis School, Cheshire.
