Our Community

Emmaus is a large and growing family of Catholic schools across Greater Manchester, in Manchester, Oldham, Stockport, Tameside and Trafford, which is set to reach 67 in number by 2030. We are one of three Catholic Academy Trusts in the Diocese of Salford and the only one covering the whole of the region.
Our aim is simple: great schools, strong in faith, serving society.
We are building a healthy Catholic community. We are here to serve the pupils, families, parishes and communities in our care, and to walk alongside the schools that are part of Emmaus as they do the same. Emmaus is a Christ and Child Centred Catholic Academy Trust, which means every decision we make starts with the flourishing of the pupil.
Our schools share a single mission and a common philosophy. We work together rather than in isolation, and we build genuine, trusted relationships with parishes, families, communities and the Diocese of Salford, so that school improvement, faith formation and service to society strengthen each other.
