Alison has 25 years of experience as a secondary school teacher, with 14 years dedicated to roles as a Designated Safeguarding Lead and Behaviour and Attendance Lead in a successful high school which achieved an “outstanding” rating by Ofsted. Her expertise in safeguarding practice and enhancing behaviour and attendance were commendably recognised. In addition to her teaching roles, Alison contributed to various Local Authority working parties, servicing as the Secondary Schools representative on the LA Safeguarding Partnership Strategic Development Team for Wigan. Alison also serves as a facilitator for the NPQ, leading behaviour and culture, empowering educators to implement effective, inclusive behaviour systems in their schools. Alison’s reputation extends to her role as a SLE for behaviour and safeguarding, providing invaluable consultation and support to both primary and secondary schools seeking to improve their behaviour, attendance and safeguarding practises. Alison is also a seasoned conference presenter.
