Anne graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 1993 with a B.Ed (Hons), specialising in English and drama. Since then, Anne has taught in Catholic primary schools across the Greater Manchester region but mainly within the Emmaus footprint.
Anne has served as a headteacher for fifteen years and successfully completed the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH). For the past decade, Anne has been the executive headteacher of two Manchester primary schools, both serving communities with high levels of disadvantage – an experience that has brought both significant challenge and reward.
In addition to her leadership roles, Anne has contributed to the wider educational community as a Diocesan Leader of Education (DLE), supporting schools across the diocese, and as a foundation governor for two schools.
