Daniel graduated from Leeds Trinity University with a BA Hons in Theology and Primary Education. He is an experienced and skillful educator with a successful career serving Catholic education and school communities across Yorkshire and the North West. Notably, Daniel was a Headteacher, Executive Headteacher, Teaching School Strategic Lead and Trust Director of Standards before joining Emmaus CAT as CEO. Daniel received the prestigious honour of being made a Fellow of the Chartered College of Teaching, recognising his career, and work leading wider school partnerships. Daniel is a designated National Leader of Education, acknowledging the depth of experience he has to offer in transforming and improving schools. As well as being a national system leader, Daniel has also served as a board member for a DfE Opportunity Area programme in the City of Bradford. Daniel is a founding member of the national CES/CEO Catholic MAT network and is the North West representative and Trustee of Formatio. Daniel directly supports the DfE Change Partnership Programme and the GMCA Violence Reduction Unit across Greater Manchester. Daniel joined Emmaus CAT in September 2021, initiating a vision to provide great Catholic education across Greater Manchester. Emmaus CAT will become one of the largest academy trusts in the country by 2030.
