Gemma began her career as an accounts officer in the food logistics and commercial delivery sector and studied part-time alongside this to graduated in 2012 with a degree in Accounting and Finance, before transitioning into education in 2014.
Gemma held her previous post for nearly 11 years as the School Business Manager in a prep school in Salford, with responsibilities including administrative and operational leadership, HR and recruitment, governance, regulatory compliance in addition to finance.
Gemma joins Emmaus as the Central Operations Business Manager, and hopes to utilise the skills she has developed to support the CAT through its period of growth and beyond. Gemma’s previous experience has equipped her with excellent organisational, operational, and management skills that make her an asset to any educational institution.
Gemma has joined our central team and will support with the operational delivery of our central Administrative and Business Services Strategy. Gemma looks forward to working collegially with all schools across the CAT, offering support to School Business Managers and their teams in the delivery of our aligned mission.
