Jack has worked as a leader in secondary schools across Greater Manchester for over a decade. As a PE teacher and leader across Tameside Physical Education Association, Jack worked across both the primary and secondary sector to increase collaboration and engagement across the local authority. Jack received the outstanding contribution to PE and school sport award in 2019 recognising his contribution to sport leadership within the local authority and community.
Jack has led as a Curriculum Leader, Assistant Principal and Deputy Principal in a large start-up secondary school in Greater Manchester, which secured an Ofsted ‘Good’ judgement in 2023, under his tenure. In addition, Jack was the National Lead Practitioner for Behaviour across one of the country’s largest multi-academy trusts, supporting schools across the country, in varying contexts, to improve their behaviour provision.
Jack has served as a governor in Tameside with specific responsibility for safeguarding.
